Our Services Include:

Structural Surveys:

Prior to purchasing your property we can do a full structural survey to establish whether there are any defects that need immediate attention or need repair in the near future. We can provide an estimate for this work as well. We will also give advice on electrical and plumbing issues and water supply.

Project planning:

When you have decided that your property needs refurbishment or renovation we will have an initial meeting to find out about your plans and ideas. We will establish whether they are feasible within the planning regulations. We will also give you an idea of how long it will take to get the required building permissions and how long the actual work will take.

Project management:

Once you have decided to proceed with the project we will sign a standard contract outlining our activities and describing the work we will be carrying out on your behalf. If needed we will get an architect to draw up plans. We will get preliminary budgets from builders, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters etc to establish the costs of the project which we will explain and discuss with you. We will also take you to kitchen and tile shops to show you what is available locally.

Design:

During the planning process and throughout the project we will share your views on design and layout. If needed we will appoint an architect to assist.

Planning permission:

Once we have established that your plans are feasible and are in line with the building regulations we will organise a building permit. This can be a permit for small works, major works, for construction of a pool etc. Getting building permission is normally one of the most time consuming aspects of the renovation or refurbishment and therefore we always advise clients to get the application submitted in the early stages of the project. Obtaining a license normally takes around 6 months or longer.

On site supervision:

We will visit the site on a daily basis and provide you with a weekly report on progress. Any problems that arise will be solved by us on site. We will also carry out quality control and make sure the project is carried out to plan and specification. We will check invoices against work done by the different trades.
